Job Description
707 Pest Solutions is looking for experienced carpenters to repair termite damage to fascia boards, sheathing, eaves, rafters, wood siding, decks, joist, girders, patios, dry rot, and other damage found on our customer’s property. Our ideal candidate is dependable, proficient, and can work well with team members. Having an applicator’s license through The Structural Pest Control Board would be a big plus. Salary is commensurate with experience.
Location
We service Arcata, Eureka, Fortuna, Mckinleyville, Garberville, and Willow Creek. Our office is located in Arcata, CA.

We are open Monday through Friday, 9 am – 5 pm.
A Day In The Life Of A Technician
As a full-time pest control technician, you’ll be positively impacting families and businesses in Humboldt County by solving their pest issues using state-of-the-art techniques and utilizing your woodworking and craftsmanship skills.
You will work mainly in the field, either independently or with a partner, being dispatched from your home or office in a company-provided vehicle. You’ll have the full support of our team as you complete your appointments throughout the day. 707 Pest Solutions is a family-owned and operated company committed to helping you advance with us and succeed in this growing profession.
No Experience? No Problem!
We will train! 707 Pest Solutions provides paid training to get your pest control license. You’ll also receive ongoing training from our team to further advance your skills. We do prefer you have existing carpentry for this position. If not, please consider our Pest Control Technician position.
General Tasks
- Provide pest management services to home and business owners in Arcata, Eureka, Fortuna, McKinleyville, Garberville, Willow Creek, and surrounding areas.
- Perform inspections for pests, pest damage, and pest entry points.
- Carpentry work to repair termite damage and exclude animals from buildings.
- Analyze, recommend, and provide necessary pest management service that proactively solves a customers’ pest issues.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers.
General Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
- Clean driving record and valid Driver’s License
- Ability to measure and perform math
- General Carpentry Skills
